New beginners course starting in July

We’re delighted to announce that we will have a brand new round of dedicated beginner classes starting in Point Blank Gym starting in July. We are running a 14 day free trial, so you can call down and try out some classes at no cost. Point Blank Gym is Galway’s only dedicated MMA facility, featuring a large matted training area, and a competition-sized cage.

Classes will be running every Monday and Thursday at 7pm and focus on the fundamentals of MMA –  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling and kickboxing.

These classes can be used as either a stand-alone course for those interested in learning something new or adding to their skills, or as an introduction to further training in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. So, whether you are just looking to take up a new sport or if you fancy yourself as a future UFC champion, these classes are a great place to get started.

Classes are suitable for teenagers and adults, regardless of your current fitness level. Training at Point Blank is a fun, enjoyable experience. You will learn new skills, get stronger and fitter and be part of a team of people all committed to doing the same. Remember, you don’t need to be fit to join; getting you in shape is our job!
