When are the beginners’ classes?
Beginners’ classes run every Monday and Wednesday at 7pm.
How do I sign up?
Because of high demand we have put a pre-booking facility in place for beginners classes. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get put on the waiting list.
What do I need to bring?
No special equipment is needed; all you need to bring is shorts or tracksuit bottoms and a tshirt. We also ask for you to bring flip flops to wear when not on the mats. A bottle of water would be a good idea too!
Is any previous experience required?
Our beginner program is aimed at complete beginners; no previous experience of any kind is needed or expected.
Do I need to be fit to join?
Not at all, as we always say, getting you fit is our job. It’s natural to be a bit worried about not being fit enough to train but it is really not an issue. Once you start training in MMA and BJJ you will start getting fitter as you are learning. Everyone gets tired during their first class but you’ll be surprised how quickly you start coming up to speed.
